Releases on Mistique, Underground City Music, Indigo and Sound Avenue have established Simon's deep, trippy sound quite well. Simon has been one of UCM's strongest contributors over the last 9 months with 7 appearances on the label. This week sees his eighth appearance on UCM with the release of his 'Threat Detected' single with remixes from: Franzis D, Boral Kibil and Alfoa . Simon's original kicks the release off quite strong with another one of his wonderfully atmospheric pieces. It's a deep and hypnotic groove with a killer melodic undertone. The sounds are trippy, fresh and play off each other perfectly for a splendid harmonic groove that is rich in atmosphere. Extremely cool stuff from Simon and one of our favorites so far from him.

Francisco Manuel Díaz Estevez aka Franzis-D has also been a shining star for UCM this year with 7 total releases. The Spanish producer returns for his eighth outing and provides the first remix of 'Threat Detected'. Franzis' mix begins with a tough, stomping progressive groove and as the track progresses the atmospheric elements slowing creep their way into the mix. The breakdown introduces a subtle vocal element and breakbeat section which serves as a wicked transition before the deliberate groove comes back to life. A great alternative to Simon's original from Franzis-D.

Turkish producer Boral Kibil is up next on the remixes and he continues his assault on the progressive scene with another quality remix here. The murky, underground feel that Boral is becoming know for is quite refreshing, he's a got a good sound and it's an interesting twist on the Turkish sound that so many have come to love. For his 'Threat Detected' remix Boral has gone with a deep, tech house groove with great atmospheric accents and some wonderful melodic moments. Top stuff from Boral.

Aleksey Loginov aka Alfoa follows up his extremely successful two part release 'Largo' and provides the final remix on the package. Aleksey has really overhauled the original and turned in a real melodic beauty. It's a solidly tough groove but it's garnished wonderfully with soft melodic keys, emotional chord changes and a great sense of space. Killer stuff from Alfoa and another good one from Underground City Music.
