David discovered his passion for dance music in the late 90's. Cutting his teeth at the free party in & around Brighton& London with the Innerfield Sound System with a regular turn out of 1000+ free party weirdoes. The peak of David's free party endeavours coincided with the legendary Brighton beach parties in the summer of 96. As numbers soared week after week so did the reputation of the DJs involved. David took the momentum and energy of this time to launch Stompa Phunk.

David is also no stranger to the national airwaves with three appearances on the nations biggest radio station Radio 1 (2.5 - 3 million listeners). His debut was filling in for Pete Tong with Lottie which saw him produce an amazing live mix of acid house classics as well as heaps of his own productions, all put together in his unmistakable style. More recently was the amazing One Live in Brighton (Radio 1 tour '03), which was Stompa Phunk in not one, but three huge events all of which featured live sessions from Stompa Phunk's finest, one of which was David on Seb Fontain's Type show.

As well as his Friday night residency at the beloved Buddha Lounge David is now running his own club Audio. This opportunity has proven him as a DJ, producer & promoter. Stompa Phunk Music is on its thirteenth release and growing, the most recent 'The Answer' by Ben Burn's also carries a belting remix by David & has received huge underground club acclaim.

Most Recently - David has been in the studio with S Phunk frequenter & now resident Kenny Hawkes & has just signed an album deal with Ralph Lawson's brilliant imprint 20/20 Recordings. The first on which is titled 'The Human Race' & features an Electric Press remix. Much more to follow.
