Dj Canny

In the Latin Music Industry there are very few Dj’s that can keep the crowd on their feet dancing the whole night. For the very talented DJ CANNY this is not a problem. He is very versatile and makes sure that while mixing on Cdj’s or Turntables or Virtual there is always something for everyone. DJ Canny was born and raised in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico. At the young age of 13 his father, a musician for a Salsa bands taught him the basics of sound engineering and djing and gave him his first mixer. At age of 11 he DJd his father’s high school class reunion and this was when DJ Canny realized his love for live performance. Since then, he has rapidly expanded the list of parties and events that he has done. From 1999 until now, he’s been making numerous house parties in Puerto Rico, Michigan and Ohio go crazy. In 2005, he was the official DJ of the LSU at the University of Toledo. He was the former official resident DJ of Club Mystique in Toledo, OH. In 2006 he has made appearances at Jefferson block in Downtown Toledo, Club Rain (Latin All-Stars), Pearl (VIP), Margarita Rocks, Shadow Lounge and Last Call (Bikini Bar). DJ Canny has also performed at many concerts. He has DJd for many artists concerts, including Chingo Bling, Too Short, Juan Gotti, Pitbull, Monchi & Alexandra and others. DJ Canny has DJd in Puerto Rico, Ohio, Michigan, Ilinois and New York but he is currently looking to expand to all of America and eventually the world. In his spare time DJ Canny has made the crossover into producing. He has produced various Reggaeton beats for the Ohio Rap group Somos Tres. He has produced multiple re-mixes, mix-tapes and radio commercials as well. In 2007 DJ Canny has become a Promoter for many clubs. He has also become the CEO of Cannbori Entertainment and Evolution Digital Mix a Booking Agency for DJ’s. DJ canny has become very proficient not only with Reggaeton music but also with various styles such as Merengue, Salsa, Bachata, Latin house, assorted Mexican music, Hip-Hop, R&B, along with many other types of music. Toledo has named DJ Canny as “The Best Latin DJ” of the city of Toledo."
