If your contemplating on purchasing an Andy Taylor Flugehorn but don't know what each model sounds like then you've come to the right place! I recorded two takes: 1st take with a "Phat Boy" model and the 2nd take with a "Standard" model. They are pretty darn close in my opinion but you can decide for yourselves.

I'm using a Dennis Wick 4FL mouthpiece with The "Phat Boy" model & an Andy Taylor standard mouthpiece on the "Standard" model.

No post-processing on the tracks, recorded directly to an Olympus LS-10 2-Trk with a TC Helicon VoiceLive 2 effects processor.
