DESCRIPTION:
It was always my dream to sing with him. My uncle was my inspiration in writing and performing music, but when he passed away in 2010, I was so saddened by the fact that his beautiful voice was lost. When I discovered this recording of him singing only the male part for “Take Me as I Am,” I was breathless. Here was my chance to perform with him, after all these years. I feel as if he led me to this recording, and as I was singing with him, I knew he was watching down on me.This performance is very dear to my heart, and I want to dedicate it to my uncle, CP.
