Distorted Impalement are the spearhead of the Austrian Death Metal Scene.



2003, Distorted Impalement was founded in March , in Graz.

2005, Andi and Peter recorded the Promo-CD called „Amok“.

2007, DI signed a contract with Germany’s well-known Morbid Records.

The Split-Cd with Germany’s Cult-Grindcorefreaks GUT was released under the distribution of Twilight. Finally the CD sold out which means 2000 + CDs were sold.

2008, DI played a lot of shows, including a European Headlining Tour Invasion including Countries like: Austria, Germany, Italy, Slovenia, Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Furthermore they went out the hit the stage on a US-Tour with Dysentery.

2009, Currently DI is busy with finishing the new album „Bodyslam“ featuring Andy Classen (Stageone Studios, Germany) mixing and mastering the sickest piece of current Deathcore in combination with different Brutal Styles.
