Disdained - Collective - Video

DESCRIPTION:
Here's just another snippet from the up-coming album, and I'm incredibly proud of this song.

Lyrics:
Verse One:
It's time to rise up, and do so with fervor,
Gonna be hard with passion on the back burner,
Cause I've been broken down, mistreated and mislead,
By the same people that I called my best friends/
When I rap, I lash out, and THAT sound,
Is destiny crashing from a black cloud,
If we're to battle, I'd be the one to back down,
But I'm saddled on this high horse, like it's attatched now/
I'm as hard as granite, and frozen like a gargoyle,
My flame's out, I'm trying to get a spark from oil,
Staring at an empty watch, feelin' outta time,
Like I need to make a choice, before the sun rise/
Remember the message, but forget the name,
When the hammer drops, there are few who remain,
They tremble and shake, when exposed to their bare roots,
Gain control, when half this shit scares you/

Chorus:
Stay in the moment, cause they were not chosen,
You're a leader, paving the road in,
The last of the clean slates are corroding,
This life, is disdained for the moment/

Verse Two:
The only things that manifest,
Is the thoughts that you never give rest,
If this is the case, why is life so complex?
Cause we get distracted by the continuous tests/
Focused on the negative side of everything,
What we attract to ourselves is embarassing,
Living in a lifestyle that's known as American,
Swept in the swiftness, we lost our samaritans/
Inner peace doesn't matter if you're Buhddist,
Or Shinto, or Christian, or whatever you choose man,
A fish in the sea, feelin' like a minnow?
Remember each day is a gift that is bestowed/
I must admit, we all become victimized,
And play the role through, 'til the day dies,
The gems of the day, can be seen as winsome,
But the key, is to find 'em in the kingdom/

Chorus:
Stay in the moment, cause they were not chosen,
You're a leader, paving the road in,
The last of the clean slates are corroding,
This life, is disdained for the moment/
