Lyrics: So it is written and so it will be: Henceforth, corporations shall have the rights denied to you and me. Bestowed unto them shall be a life worth more than human life itself. Liberty from regulation, investigation, or prosecution. And the pursuit of power without regard for human suffering. Bow your heads. Pray in the direction of Wall Street. The corporations will now lead us in prayer: Our corporations, which art infallible, hallowed be our trade. Our kingdom is come. Our will be done across Earth as approved by the markets. And forgive us our treason as we vilify those who would speak against us. Lead us not into equality, but deliver them into more poverty. For ours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory of the one percent forever and ever. Personify them. Indemnify them. When they kill, it is not a crime. This new philosophy, Corporate Supremacy, it’s sinking in by the din of freedom’s dying embers. From the dark, they approach in masks sewn of human skin in the Age of Corporate Personhood. Not just some wolf/sheep fable. Not just playing both sides of the table. Democracy cannibalized by the companies it keeps before our eyes. A marginalization of humanity so bold, so grand. A tipping point in a plan to blur the lines, to redefine the world they’ll rule with your gift, a false face of flesh, in the Age of Corporate Personhood. Hail this new ideology. All bow to Corporate Supremacy. Slowly, it sinks in. Another way? Your children won’t remember. Bang the gavel. Bang the gavel. Let them rule what’s left of humanity. Death of democracy. Drop the shroud. Just one ruling to rule them all. Just one ruling to rule them all in the Age of Corporate Personhood. How much worse does it have to get? How many lies can our minds forget? All of us bowing to the new corporate order and their wars, their prisons, their insidious borders. Are we really ready to accept this arrangement that’s designed to let all of us toil and labor just to die in debt for the power and glory of the one percent?
