The Pirates set sail to plunder Christmas Number 1

Jersey Rock band, The Pirate Brigade, is not shy of a challenge even when asked to record a Christmas single. Even though the festive genre is not usually associated with PPB they welcomed the challenge that was set by BBC introducing-Jersey presenter Ryan Morrison and set to work straight away. The band recorded the Christmas song with the help of a local producer, Sam Falle (Producer).

Not only have the band created a Christmas single in a record time, the track is now available at www.piratepartybrigade.com and on ITunes and Amazon Uk http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B006JU1ZPY with 80% percent of 2011 download profits going to Marie Curie Cancer Care.

The Christmas sound track combines classic Christmas singles with inspiration coming from a melody of different Artists including; Sir Cliff Richard, Slade and Wizard.

The band consists of Tommy Drysdale (Lead Guitarist), Matt Powell (Rhythm Guitarist), Philippe Jackson (Bass guitarist), and Adam Montgomery aka Monty (Lead Singer) and Chris Colin (Drummer).

The next challenge for the band will be recording an EP at Monnow Valley Studios in Wales, with top producer Richard Jackson (The Automatic). The band will be recording their EP, which should be available in February 2012.
