This is the rock that we should be able to get on alternative rock radio. The album comes out soon I think. I'd like to see them on a good label. Would like to see the label spend the money to get them on alternative rock radio and maybe even active rock radio. It would be great for Maine to get a hit song. Maine has acts that left and became big and acts that got big and some members relocated here. Lamontaigne and Patty Griffin left, Jon Fishman, Vince Clarke, Don McLean and Steve Austin moved here.

This is very D'arey October ish, Erikas aggressiveness from Fighting The Moon is present, also see Lady Lamb, Courtney Barrett, Screaming Females for the single female singing and really shredding, playing great, and Nirvana, Dino Jr, Sonic Youth, Mudhoney for the overall sound. New A&R at Republic Jared Piccone (ex D'arey October) as well as video director of Grace Mitchell's (Republic) new video for "Now" released April 12 Steve Penta. Also Grace Mitchell sounded a lot more like D'arey October at Coachella. So it looks like Jared is moving toward the D'arey direction for Grace which would indicate an increased receptivity toward Weakened Friends which are spot on D'arey. He's going to have to train Grace to truly rock the way D'arey did and Weakened Friends does.
