HORIZON album contains 10 original compositions of Thanos Hatzianagnostou, with lyrics of Irini Konstantinidi, in seven of them. It preserves the atmospheric sound of the European jazz scene and demonstrates the quartet's major influence by their beloved Esbjorn Svensson Trio (e.s.t.).

Horizon draws the line between the earth and the sky. It symbolizes the boundaries between the fall and the uprising.
In this "concept" second album we perform a deep fall inwards, only to emerge in a higher level of cosmic consciousness. The essence of this new album sums up to the acceptance that the time of humanity as we know it, is running out quickly unless we realize that life is just a slender string and try to make it worth living.
A single glance at the horizon is a reminder of our insignificance within the vast universe, setting things into proportion.

The new album HORIZON was recorded on November 29 & 30, 2013 at Sierra studio, Athens. Sound engineer and mixing: Giorgos Kariotis. Mastering by Petros Siakavellas (Digital Press Hellas). Produced by The Wonderfall Quartet. Released on April 15, 2014.

O Ορίζοντας | Horizon είναι το δεύτερο κομμάτι του νέου ομότιτλου άλμπουμ του The Wonderfall Quartet. Η έμπνευση για τους στίχους ήρθε απ' τα υπέροχα πλάνα των ταινιών του Θόδωρου Αγγελόπουλου και το κομμάτι είναι αφιερωμένο σ' εκείνον για την μοναδική κινηματογραφική του προσφορά.

Το άλμπουμ HORIZON περιέχει 10 πρωτότυπες συνθέσεις του drummer Θάνου Χατζηαναγνώστου με στίχους της Ειρήνης Κωνσταντινίδη σε εφτά απ' αυτές. Διατηρεί τον ατμοσφαιρικό ήχο της Ευρωπαϊκής τζαζ και καταδεικνύει την επιρροή του κουαρτέτου απ'το αγαπημένο τους γκρουπ E.S.T.

Ο ορίζοντας τραβάει τη γραμμή μεταξύ ουρανού και γης. Συμβολίζει τα σύνορα μεταξύ της πτώσης και της ανύψωσης. Σ' αυτό το δεύτερο concept άλμπουμ βουτάμε βαθειά προς τα εσώτερα, για να αναδυθούμε ξανά σε ένα ανώτερο επίπεδο κοσμικής συνειδητότητας. Η ουσία αυτού του άλμπουμ συνοψίζεται στην παραδοχή ότι ο χρόνος της ανθρωπότητας, έτσι όπως την ξέρουμε μέχρι τώρα, φτάνει στο τέλος του... εκτός κι αν συνειδητοποιήσουμε πόσο λεπτή είναι η "χορδή" της ζωής και προσπαθήσουμε να τη ζήσουμε με νόημα. Μια μόνο ματιά στον ορίζοντα δείχνει την πραγματική διάσταση των πραγμάτων, θυμίζοντας την ασημαντότητά μας μέσα στο σύμπαν.

Το νέο άλμπουμ HORIZON ηχογραφήθηκε στις 29 & 30 Νοεμβρίου 2013 στο Sierra Studios. Ηχοληψία & μίξη: Γιώργος Καρυώτης. Mastering: Πέτρος Σιακαβέλλας (Digital Press Hellas) Παραγωγή: The Wonderfall Quartet. Κυκλοφόρησε στις 15 Απριλίου 2014.
