Diamonds & The Ruff Entertainment, Inc. is a newly established entertainment company that specializes in artist development, management and growth. It was found in June of 2006 in Chicago by “Heaven”. The Corporation was started with a vision of success that was accompanied with the love of music. In the beginning, the number one objective of the company was the music. Finding independent artists that needed that extra push and the chance to get their music out was the number one objective. New artists need marketing, promotions, and a strong team behind them to launch a successful project. It has always been important to them to have everything their artists would need in house. It is a soldiers’ in-the-trenches, do-what-has-to-be-done-to-get-it-done mentality and philosophy that carries over to managing careers and releasing hit records Shortly after the company was established, Diamonds & The Ruff Entertainment began to get approached by a lot of females seeking management for their modeling careers. Although D&R was initially against the idea, the thought of an in-house promotional team of females overpowered all worries. This brought forth the birth of “The Diamond Models”. “The Diamond Models” are an elite group of ladies of all creeds, backgrounds and personalities that seek a professional modeling career. For all Diamond Models, they receive help in developing their "look", modeling skills, and developing their natural talents. Moreover, they also receive help in preparing their marketing materials for the market in which they think they will be most successful. We are also getting our hands in jewelry business with “Diamondz Customized Jewel Boxes”. These Jewel Boxes, are hand crafted to the customers liking with they’re own personal design. Every design is different and unique. As if that wasn’t enough, there is HB1 Publishing, Co. We are in charge of our destiny and our artist futures by controlling and owning all of our publishing rights. In continuing the challenge of having everything in house for the artist and models, D&R has hired our own public relations executive; Samantha McKinney, a in-house graphic Designer; Alvin Elmore, event planners, an in-house make up artist for “The Diamond Models”; Ms. Kerre, a production team, and stylists. Currently, Diamonds & The Ruff Entertainment, Inc. is the home of “The Diamond Models” (Dutchess, Queen Supreme, Red Passion), Smokie, The Diamond District Radio Show (WXDU Durham), HB1 Publishing, and Diamondz Customized Jewel Boxes. Lastly, the most recent addition to the company is The “Im Gonna Live” Foundation. All accomplishments are accompanied by giving back to the people in your community that needs it the most. The purpose of the foundation is to go behind the walls of the penitentiaries and into the battered women’s shelters and uplift the populace. We desire to give them something to look forward to even if it’s only for one day. Our plan is to motivate them to keep their heads up and to not lose hope. As for the ones in custody, it is imperative for them to know that although they are incarcerated, their life is not over. The mission is to inspire them to correct bad behavior, with hopes that it will produce an outcome of them not returning to prison. If we touch at least one person with our show and our movement, we have made a grand accomplishment. . .

The models are carefully chosen like you would an actual diamond, as close to perfect as possible. “The Diamond Models” are an elite group of ladies that carry themselves to the highest mark. These ladies are strong minded women driven with determination to succeed while displaying their outside beauty. They are from different backgrounds determined to thrive at a common goal, modeling, which has also assent to other talents of theirs shining from within. In addition, it gives them a chance to show off their individualities. They are on a journey to further their careers as professional models. "The Diamond Models" take care of all in house promotions for Diamonds & the Ruff Entertainment, Inc. They are the only female faces that you will see on any of our promotional material, such as flyers, CD covers, etc, consisting of female models. These young ladies sought the help of D&R to bring out there inner talents and to help their advancement in the modeling industry. D&R develops their "look", modeling skills, and assists in developing their natural talents. They also receive help in preparing their marketing materials for the market in which they think they will be most successful.
