DEADZONE is a new Dead-centric, groove and improv-oriented series curated by Joe Gallant at Tobacco Road, in the heart of Hell's Kitchen at 41st and 9th ave. NYC, 9pm - 2am.

Similar in vibe and spirit to our dear Wetlands, DEADZONE features established Dead-tribute bands, original jambands, downtown groove-prov jazz cadres, and emerging groups.

Our first event is a *** DARK STAR ORCHESTRA AFTERPARTY *** on FRIDAY 11/25.

This will be THE place to be, less than 4 blocks away, after DSO.

THE MOONLIGHTERS and STAGGER LEE will do 2 alternating sets each, beginning around 9pm and rockin till around 2am.

Expect tons of hot & tasty Dead tunes, killer chops & vocals, groove-heavy originals, mind&body jammys and deepspace explorations.
