Japanese Garage Rock Trio Sensation!
Since 2001, the Japanese band detroit7 has conquered the Tokyo rock scene and is now poised for an international invasion. The tight three-piece garage rock outfit is comprised of a female vocalist and guitarist Tomomi Nabana, a female drummer Miyoko Yamaguchi, and a male bassist Nobuaki Kotajima. They also have done time as an opening act for such artists as Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Reef. Manic Street Preachers, and Teenage Fanclub.



白のレフティのJazzMasterを抱え、時にHardで時にMellowに歌う菜花、女性とは思えないほどパワフルなドラミングの美代子、タイトかつアグレッシブにバンドを支える古田島。Rage Against The Machineの1stアルバム等で知られるSTAN KATAYAMA氏をエンジニアに迎え、沖縄レコーディング、LAミックスのアルバムを制作。轟音ファズと激情のリズムが織り成す怒濤のダンス・チューンが満載された2009年の新曲達が、いよいよ5/20にリリースとなる。
