DESCRIPTION:
Hi everyone! It's time for my big release of the year. I had the opportunity to arrange one of my absolute favorite tracks from Final Fantasy X, the Battle Theme. I also got to work with one of the most unique and enchanting voices in the game industry, Julie Elven, best known for her work in Horizon Zero Dawn and World of Warcraft. The reason it means a lot to me is because it's a dream come true to be able to work with her, since I've been following her work for quite a while and really admire how she brings music to life. :)

This song represents the sensation of being in a strange new world, far away from home. And yet, you still feel the need to protect it, to save Spira from destruction alongside the friends you've made on your journey. I decided to make a track that has some world music elements, like gamelan and taiko, while the ethereal voice of Julie Elven brings the emotion to the next level. I must say this is one of my favorite works of my career.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I did working on it.

Born Daniel Jimenez, Rozen is a G.A.N.G. Award Nominee composer, sound designer and producer currently based in Los Angeles, California. A graduate of Berklee College of Music, he excels at composing music for media, including film, television, and video games. His work in video production ranges from music videos to behind the scenes and live performances.
