I.C Bruisers are a non-profit, free junior roller derby team in the Iowa City area.

What do skaters get out of being a part of the team? There are obviously many health benefits to becoming a skilled skater, as all of our members strive to do. In addition, junior roller derby skaters experience boosts in self-esteem, increased mental focus, and internal drive. They are tough, confident, and healthy. And the best part: they form close friendships as they become part of the team!
