El dia Viernes 18 de Abril se llevo a cabo el concierto homenaje a Alex Anaya un pionero del rock latino en Denver, Colorado quien impulso la esena del rock local. El evento tuvo lugar en el club "La Boom" 770 Sheridan BLV. Las bandas participantes fueron MEDUSAS VIBATOR, CIKATRIZ, MADAFRA, VERDUGO, EL CRO, CRUXVAE, MENTES AJENAS, ROKA HUEKA y TRIKES.

Madafra, a Denver Colorado local Spanish rock band. Madafra was born as a garage band in 2003. Its name was created by Martin Hernandez (lead member of the band), which stands for, Martin, Daisey & Francisco, the first members to start the band. Madafra's music is mainly original songs composed by Martin Hernandez and daughter Daisey Torvisco. They also do perform some covers which have been transformed to their unique style. In the years performing, Madafra has had three members that unfortunately could not continue playing with madafra (Francisco Segura, Mario Gonzales, and Julio Martinez), causing Madafra to stop performing for a while. In 2011, Daisey meets Damain, and Madafra is back together.

Madafra has performed and participated in many local venues, clubs, private parties, and special events in Colorado. We have shared stage with many great local bands, and well known bands from Mexico. Madafra has been invited and had the pleasure to participate in community events, interviews, radio, and news paper.

Madafra still does not have a label, manager, or promoter. Madafra works very hard in producing and promoting themselves. Today (2014) Madafra is getting ready to hit the studio, and prepare a new album with a wide variaty of our music. We are still working and hoping that one day our music will be heard and loved all over the world. Madafra is always looking forward to perform in your special event.
