Maurice de Jong (Mories) is the sole mind behind this project as well as various others like Gnaw Their Tongues, Aderlating Pyriphlegethon and Cloak of Altering. He has also made collaborations with Anaal Nathrakh, artworks for The Austrasian Goat, The Beast of The Apocalypse, and mastering for Alkerdeel. Until 2008, De Magia Veterum has released 4 ep's and 3 full-length albums which have remained as chaotic black metal despite metal-archives labels this as 'avant-garde black'...
