Can’t we just leave Lana Del Rey alone? I guess not. Eminem seems to be looking for some headlines as he’s blatantly dissed and threatened singer Lana Del Rey (and more) in a new freestyle video.
What you just saw was a new freestyle rap in support of his upcoming Shady Records label compilation album “Shady XV”. Em raps last in the video and as you just heard he rhymes, “I’ll punch Lana Del Rey right in the face twice, like Ray Rice in broad daylight in the plain sight of the elevator surveillance” And there’s more, Eminem goes on, “’Til her head is banging on the railing, then celebrate with the Ravens.” Ok real talk. Not only is Eminem glamorizing the recent Ray Rice controversy where he brutally beat up his fiancé Janay, he is threatening Lana. Unlike Ray Rice who was indefinitely suspended by the NFL, probably nothing will happen to Eminem except some welcome media backlash. I dunno about you guys but I don’t think this is a laughing matter and call me crazy but he owes Lana an apology. And that was just one small part of his lengthy verse. He also rapped, “Smears all over Britney spears and all these little Disney queers who use chicks for beards”. And as you recall this is not the first time he’s gone after Britney Spears. Eminem’s kinda famous for dissing Brit, Mariah, Christina and other celebs. Probably the saddest part of all this? Lana Del Rey has admitted she’s a huge Slim Shady fan.
