Parts are a bit raw, but given the fact we haven't played(not even practice) in 4th months is a win. This was a surprise show

In 1997 Matt Kretzmann and Pat Mabie started on an aural adventure that both confused and intrigued the masses. In highschool they had an assignment to show off a part of their lives that no one from school had seen before. They choose to show their classmates the musical style of "noise". Their classmates were knocked off their seats by high-pitched screeches and low rumbling nonsense. In their first performance together they had found what each had been looking for - and outlet. A way to affect others by doing something odd, strange... not of the norm. They called themselves "King Nu Shoes"
Soon they were going every week to a small coffee shop near the Capital to infect more with this strange sound. For more than a year they performed at the Capital Garage (when it was on 15th and L) and received responses from the crowd varying from applause to silence to having food thrown at them. They loved every minute of it. It did not matter to them what people thought or even if they liked it. All that mattered was that someone listened and that everytime someone left saying "That's the craziest thing I've ever seen."
It was at the Capital Garage that they met Ross Messier. An experimental artist himself and a member of the local electronic group Hysterisis Loop, he specialized in Electronic and Drum and Bass. One day they decided to collaborate and called their project "Clicking Eskimos". It was an amazing meld of Electronic melodies and Hip-hop beats with a psychedelic wall of sound.
Before long their highschool classmate Sam Hendryx had been infected with the bug. He would follow them to nearly every show at the Capital Garage to watch in amazement. One week he couldn't sit in the stands just watching anymore. He had to be a part of this different (to say the least) sound.
It was about that time that Matt Kretzmann and Pat Mabie decided they needed a drummer. They knew a woman by the name of Lauren Hess that could drum and enjoyed their music. Matt Kretzmann and Pat Mabie decided to expand their duo "King Nu Shoes" into a full-fledged band that included Lauren Hess on drums and Sam Hendryx on background sounds and keyboard. Together they formed the psychedelic rock band known as Delayed Sleep.
About a year or so went by and Lauren Hess decided to move on. Realizing they needed a drummer they called on their long-standing friend Ross Messier to join the band. He quickly said "Yes!"
In 2009 Delayed Sleep again changed paces and started a full band with keys(Monica Vasquez) and Vocals(Glen Mellander) and long time stand in drummer(Ryan Kile).

What's next for Delayed Sleep is a mystery!!
