As a powerful master piece in the making since 2001, DefineD is an aggressive relentless force of a hard hitting "metal" mass. Listeners are struck hard by heavy break-downs and complex rhythm grooves. Following composure, they succumb to the dynamic melodies of bliss. Unlike many new bands bringing acts of parody, DefineD is a new breed that has evolved all the right ingredients from their predecessors. The music is filled with passion and emotion. LIVE, the band is one of the few who should NOT be missed. They always bring on a massive high energetic show that all fans can come to expect. After few EP releases (upcoming full length debut album "Diligence" due early SPRING 2011), 9 years of LIVE action, and a combined stage experience of over 30 years………. it's safe to say that these nomads can make any stage their own! It is truly where the band shines among brilliance. a fire that is PURELY fueled by rabid fans, blood, sweat, tears.and BEERS!
Now based in Ottawa, the line up consists of Jon Rioux (vocals) Steve Lajeunesse (drums) Neil Landry (bass) and Dan Levis (lead guitar). Through a difficult, yet successful past comes a new DefineD with new goals, new songs, and a new ambition. With their sights set higher then ever before, DefineD continue their devastating attack by tearing down every stage they play!!
