DESCRIPTION:
Another hopelessly obscure lost gem: Adam & Dee were an English duo and this track was released on the independent Tangerine label in 1969. It's perhaps most notable for being produced and arranged by Mohawks / Library organ hero Alan Hawkshaw.

Apparently, it got plenty of spins on the Kenny Everett show back in the day, and deservedly so. It's a truly singular record, somehow managing to squeeze psych folk, baroque sunshine pop and complete mental freakout into its four minutes. The lyrics are full of mad childlike questions and beautifully delivered.
