Dedric Jones is a songwriter, arranger, producer, and director. The Pine Bluff, AR native has worked in Gospel Music training choirs in countless settings for over 15 years. He has received numerous certificates and awards for his outstanding services rendered to the musical arena. He loves people, but most of all he loves God and gives him all the glory for the great things he has done in his life.



In 2001, Dedric formed a group of young adults called Chosen Praise. This ensemble blends their voices together to create a powerful and effective ministry, causing their audiences to lift their hearts and hands to God as they minister through song. They have traveled and ministered at a variety of venues such as National & State Conventions, Conferences and Universities. The mission of the ensemble is to bring forth healing, deliverance, and salvation through the manifestation of the Holy Spirit through song. Truly, the Lord has caused his grace to shine upon them.



In 2007 the group released its freshman project entitled “HEART OF DAVID” with the hit radio single "TELL IT!". Now the group, also known as DJCP, is gearing up for their first LIVE CD/DVD Recording for their sophomore project entitled "FOR MY HEALING". Just as electrifying as "TELL IT," this project offers therapy to the body of Christ in the areas where we need healing and restoration. For too long we've been treated, now it's time to be 'HEALED'. Album number two will show people that God is the remedy for every issue: physical, mental, emotional, financial and spiritual.



The sound of Dedric Jones and Chosen Praise is contemorary with a traditional undertone. On stage, their performance is stellar from top to bottom leaving their fans with an unforgettable worship experience.
