Woke up on a mystical morning
I went for a run along the whispering waves of the ocean shore
Not a care in my mind
And realising how through my whole life
I’ve been searching the valleys & hills for the footprints of the antelope
Always needed a sign

My eyesight has always been blinded
The mist on the mountains from my long faded past blocked the way
I was eager to find
With self pity I have always been bonded
A slave to confusion, I never believed I could change
So I began to rewind

& through falling back into the dark tunnels
Of hatred & pain
True love has been regained

And turning back on that mystical morning
All along the golden sand, I saw the footprints on an antelope
& these footprints were mine
& right there on that beautiful moment I knew
The world is my home
& it keeps me alive

& through releasing all the horrifying animals
I have always kept locked & sealed
True beauty has been revealed
