What a night at B.B. King's in NYC's Times Square! With family, friends, fans and fellow countrymen on hand, Alan and his amazing current band, The Beautiful Gypsies, played a spectacular show, and for several songs on this auspicious night, the stage was fortunate enough to host 4/5ths of Alan's amazing former (for now - never say never) band, Great Big Sea. And then, to cap off an unforgettable night for the Petty Harbour Boy/King Of New York, fellow Newfoundlanders (and Come From Away cast members) joined all hands up on stage to close out the performance - if perhaps not the evening's celebration - with a song from NL's own much-missed Poet Laureate, Ron Hynes.
