DESCRIPTION:
Somewhat tired after a fantastic gig at Nottingham's JazzSteps, and towards the end of an extensive UK Tour, David chats about the band PrestonGlasgowLowe and his plans to return to Nottingham during 2014 to run a couple of workshops with students who are musicians and/or training in music technology. The workshop, "Tour Story: some nuts-and-bolts of us organising a successful UK band tour' will draw on their recent tour experiesnces and help those aspiring to work in the music entertainment sector.
These workshops have been organised by the Education arm of JazzSteps Nottingham and are being supported by EMJAZZ (East Midlands Jazz CIC), the consortium of promoters of jazz in the East Midlands, UK.
