For our second installment, we are pleased to present JR Jarris. Hailing from San Diego, US, he first got in touch months back with an email that was entitled ' Not just any ordinary demo". So that naturally caught our attention, we gave it a listen, loved it and eventually landed at his Soundcloud, which boasted an impressive array of styles that ranged from House, Hip-hop to the deeper Trap sounds. But ultimately, it's that natural bounce and energy in his productions that we really feel for.
JR Jarris has been an early avid fan of Kanye West, Q-tip and Pharrell, so it is evident that he has managed to capture that groove really well, and focuses heavily on his drums to create a certain degree of unpredictability.

We felt that the tracks presented here exemplifies his vibe and approach really well, and yes, this is definitely the start of many good things to come for this young man. Also, not forgetting @dayla, a rather lowkey producer who is jazz influenced and is incredibly musically talented! The keys in Fux are extremely on point! Do make sure to seek him out, especially that 'Cereal For Breakfast' joint!
