this is the demo for The Beatles classic for my band Private Parts CD - the band track without vocals was recorded live at an afternoon soundcheck at a bar called Brother's Tavern in Aggieville - Manhattan, KS in the mid-80s when both The Beatles and The Police ruled the earth....

John Collison - keys - Mark Lloyd - drums - Andrew Coss - bass - db - guitars - Doug Kimball - engineer . I took that instrumental track home to my studio in Wichita and recorded all the vocals
and.....this is the results....later recorded at Ocean Way in Hollywood for our CD called Dancing The Marmara...

I originally developed this arrangement in a band with Donna McDaniel, John Keane, Matt Bissonette, Jim Tauber and moi a year before adding it to the Parts songlist....

I prefer this version....


It is also included in the Dawayne Bailey solo album "sketch" released in 2002.
