War performs 1970s hits Why Can't We Be Friends, Low Rider (4:16) and encore Gypsy Man (6:24) featuring percussion and harmonica solos from 1973 album Deliver The Word. WAR was live in concert at The Canyon, Agoura Hills, Los Angeles County, CA on January 13, 2017. The drummer twirling his drum sticks is interesting.

Lonnie Jordan remains with WAR trademark owner Jerry Goldstein and Far Out Productions who created a new version of War with himself as the only original member. WAR current band members are Leroy "Lonnie" Jordan – keyboards, vocals; Stuart Ziff – guitar, vocals; David Urquidi – saxophone, flute; Stanley Behrens – harmonica; Sal Rodriguez – drums, vocals; David "Pug" Rodriguez – percussion, vocals and Marcos Reyes – percussion.

Why Can't We Be Friends? was a WAR Top Ten hit on U.S. Billboard charts in 1975: Hot 100 - #6; R&B Singles - #9. Songwriters are Papa Dee Allen, Harold Ray Brown, B. B. Dickerson, Lonnie Jordan, Charles Miller, Lee Oskar, Howard E. Scott. Other original members are part of War spinoff the Lowrider Band.
