David Newman (Durga Das) & Mira perform at Sivananda Ashram Yoga Retreat in the Bahamas.

In a celebration of color and music, artists from different religious and spiritual traditions will uplift our hearts and souls through the healing power of devotional singing and dance.

David Newman (Durga Das) is a kirtan chant artist, sacred singer-songwriter and a practitioner and educator of Bhakti Yoga. Mira is a vocalist, musician, and poetess. She has recorded on many well-known chanting CDs, sharing her ethereal vocals and displaying her talents on cajon, kartals (finger cymbals), and kaimini (south Indian bells). The Sivananda Yoga Retreat provides an immersion experience into the daily practices of a yogic lifestyle.
