DESCRIPTION:
Dato Evgenidze is a Georgian jazz pianist who has also worked extensively in film music field. In his second album "Horoscope", recorded live in Paris, he teams up with the band consisting of Igor Butman (sax), Gia Salagishvili (drums) and David Japaridze (percussions) and presents the cinematic mixture of third stream and Georgian folk elements. Last three pieces feature a string quartet, folk-quintet Urmuli and Eter Tataraidze on accordion, respectively.
