''ALFIE'' ( Bacharach/David) My solo guitar version,inspired by the great Jazz pianist Bill Evans, of one of my all time favourite songs--probably Bacharach's masterpiece and a song that breaks all the rules particularly with its strange 40 bar form.
I stick pretty close to the original chords with a few tweaks here and there.I play the opening and closing scales using a combination of open and fretted strings--just a nice 'harp' effect i've been working on recently.
