DESCRIPTION: HD These are two structured / improvisations for bass guitar and shruti-box. The rhythmical structure is made up of typical South-Indian rhythmical figures based on groups of five: "Tha di gi na thom". The scale I've chosen to use here is: G harmonic minor with a #11, the 57th Melakarta, Simhendramadhyamam. There are some real mistakes but the point is to perform the whole piece in one go. It's an ongoing process.
