Datura

Né fin 2001 des cendres encore fumantes de Death Certificate, Datura est actuellement composé de



Alex (guitare), Guillaume (batterie), Julian (basse), Christophe (guitare) et Alban (chant).



Courant octobre 2002, le groupe enregistre sa première démo 3 titres auto produite, intitulée Divine Decay , avec Mickael Valesy du groupe Furia aux manettes.

Grace au très bon accueil reçu tant par les médias que par le public, Datura enchaine une série de concerts, tout en composant activement en vue de son premier album.

Datura investit les locaux de la Cave Musique à Macon du 27 août au 17 septembre, avec de nouveau Mickael Valesy aux commandes.

Il en résulte un album de 9 titres qui pose les bases du style Datura, mélange de mélodie et de brutalité, qui s'intitule "The Darkest Hours" .



Datura was created in 2001,with members of the death-metal band called Death Certificate.Datura is currently composed of Alex(guitar,backing vocals),Guillaume(drums),Julian(bass),Christophe(guitar) and Alban(vocals).

During October 2002,the group records its first mini-cd,"Divine Decay",featuring 3 tracks,with Mickael Vallesi from the band Furia.

Thanks to a lot of enthousiastic articles,Datura was given the chance to perform concerts with bands such as Gronibard,Sublim Cadaveric Decomposition,Himinbjorg,Recueil Morbide,Ingrowning etc

Thereafter,the group started recording its first full album,with Mickael Vallesi once again,during three weeks from 27 august to 17 september 2004,in Macon.The result is an album of nine tracks,a mix between melody and brutality,called "The darkest hours".
