At night when I'm sleeping she is my night light

And just before sunrise she floats to the floor
Then hops down the hallway and to the backdoor
She gives me a wink and wiggles her ear
Then ghost bunny disappears

And sometimes that Ghosty will bring over friends
A skunk, and a gnome, and a small pelican
We giggle all night and they sleep in my hair
But in the morning they're not there

I wonder where Ghosty is during the day
When I'm outside playing I call out her name
But she only comes back when it's time for bed
