The full ensemble for the show will include Sheldon Brown on tenor sax and bass clarinet, Ben Goldberg on clarinet and contra-alto clarinet and Hamir Atwal drums. The full band will not have a piano, so this video is a different take on the music.

is a song cycle composed by Darren Johnston based on his interviews with eight immigrants from Peru, South Korea, Burma, Russia, Mexico, Bulgaria and Egypt, who now all live in San Francisco. The libretto is composed of direct quotes from the interviews - key passages and phrases put together into seven songs.
