Darkmoon Warrior Biography

Darkmoon Warrior was founded in 1996 by Atom Krieg and Grommon. First as a mix of Dark Noise and Ambient between Abruptum and Neptune Towers. Reflections of this time are the 2 Demotapes “After the final Armageddon” (1996) and “After the final Holocaust” (1999), which where concept albums about a destroyed world. One from a religious point of view, the second from a worldly one. Later on the music was changed into more traditional Blackmetal and Basilisk of Eternity joined the ranks on the 3rd Demo “Son of Loki” (2001) At the recordings for the 4 way Split “We walk the infernal path” (2003) Anti joined Darkmoon Warrior.After our first album “In fundis inferiorum” (2005) Basilisk left Darkmoon Warrior and L.V.X. joined the band on drums. Within the recordings of the second and the bands most “experimental” Album “Crown of snakes” (2009) the band decided to start playing live.For the Live shows Greifenor joined as second guitar player. After several Gigs and short tours through Germany and countries around the Darkmoon Warrior recorded in autumn 2013 their 3rd album “Nuke ‘em all” ………… this is not the end……….
