Dark Day Sunday

Its 2AM. Youre driving at full speed down a dark, winding road. All of the anger of the world is released as you push your foot harder on the gas pedal. Youre driving a hearse with a hemi. Your frustrations are released in each curve you take, as you turn up the stereo. Yes its a dark day indeed. A Dark Day Sunday.



If you miss the ferocity of the days of old, then this is what youve been craving. Molded with a common love of head banging fury, wailing guitar solos, melodic undertones atop of vocals that simply wont quit, and a rhythm section so in tuned with one another, you'd swear they were born of the same insanity. Dark Day Sunday are sure to leave you screaming along at the top of your lungs for more.



Formed by Frank Aresti (Fates Warning), Marc Lopes and Ed Lanouette, Dark Day Sunday come at you at full speed and dont stop until theyre certain you're floored.



In the drummer's seat are 2 of the most highly regarded metal drummers today: Jason Bittner of Shadows Fall and Steve Bolognese of Into Eternity.

Jason Bittner recently finished recording tracks for their upcoming full-length disc which is scheduled for release in the fall of 2009.



Steve Bolognese brings an energy all his own to the live shows. Both drummers are unique but each fits Dark Day Sunday perfectly in their own way.



When asked wether Jason or Steve will play the upcoming show with Korn, Frank says, "Jason and Steve are both part of the DDS family. You never know who you're gonna see behind the kit."
