Later ran into him at the mall in Hendersonville, TN. While just killing time waiting for the ladies, he and Merle struck up a conversation which of course turned to the music business. In 1973 he met Harrison Tyner who became one his best friends. Harrison worked years near Elvis, and loved the sound of Dan's voice. This song is going to raise the speed limit right into love" (Tom Pick).
