Brooklyn-based Daniel Shuman is perhaps best known for his work with Sabbath Assembly. He played bass on both Restored to One and Ye are Gods, and also contributed a great deal of writing, singing and guitar playing to the latter. Daniel is also a current member of shoe-gaze icons Monocle, and works with Rebecca Pronsky.

The solo recording Dawn is the first release where Shuman played nearly everything. It is a more evolved arranging endeavor, a dreamy psychedelic extension of his wistful approach to songwriting.
