DESCRIPTION:
Danny Villanueva is a drummer and percussionist in the Washington DC area. He has shared the stage with Stevie Wonder, Phillip Phillips, Ben Folds, John Mayer, Smokey Robinson, Quincy Jones, Yo Yo Ma, The Civil Wars, Dave Brubeck, Morgan Freeman, Chris Botti, Michael Bolton, Joshua Bell, Clay Aiken, Olivia Newton John, and The Irish Tenors. Also a classically trained percussionist, he is a regular substitute with the National Symphony Orchestra with which he has toured both nationally and internationally while working with many of the world's leading conductors. Danny has played drums and percussion for over 50 musicals and has worked in many of the areas top theatres. He also specializes in world percussion and it's application to all styles and genres.
