Dan Mangan plays guitar and writes songs about people (and occasionally robots). He's also very loveable, and probably nice to hug. In 2011, Mangan released his third -- and arguably most impressive -- album, Oh Fortune. While he was passing through Toronto, I met up with Mangan to discuss the difficulty of having a self-named solo project, lying about being in Metallica, and his beautiful beard.
