DESCRIPTION:
I am doing a tribute to my friend Stan Wood, the inventor and master of the vibraband. I'm actually playing to music tracks in the headphones! David Poulshock, another friend of Stan's, put together an "all blow" in which he got Stan's friends to play together virtually. Stan was from the world of Jazz, and I was a rock and roll kind of guy. However, we both enjoyed sounds for their own sake. Stan got me into free jazz, a genre I hope to be exploring more of in the future.
