A songwriter, with the priviledges of performance. That's it. My songs are me and I am my songs. I do not have grand fantasies of fame or fortune, just hopes of stability and happiness. I have been writing and performing live for the past 12 years (yes I am counting the embarrassing battle of the bands when I was 14). I am proud of my original music but not too proud that I don't play the great hits of my preceeding fellow artists, after all we all know the cover bands make the real dough until your own songs actaully hit the radio waves. I have been blessed with many opportunities to work with very talented industry people. I did my first demo with Jag Tanna (I Mother Earth) of whom I met while hauling there gear on their last tour. My latest demo I had the honour of working with the mastermind producer Dan Brodbeck. I am due to record the rest of the record in the spring again with Dan Brodbeck. MOST IMPORTANTLY to my music, I have the greatest band ever! I have been so incredibly blessed to play with such a talented group of dudes. I am spolied when it comes to Mike Bowell (guitar), Grant Taylor (drums/my husband), Craig Riley (percussion) and Manny DeGrandis (bass).

Yes. I have dabbled in the wonderful world of reality T.V performances. in 2006 I was the only Canadian to make top 50 for Nashville Star USA out of 20,000 participants. I made it to Nashville and the experience was wonderful. I was reviewed as best original song for the performance in one Nashville paper, but all in all, reality T.V is not reality at all and most certainly not my cup of tea.

Positivity, really that's what I would love to portray. There are so many things in this world that need to change or even just rise up and be prominent. I would love to be able to just write a song to fix them all, but Unfortunately my magic powers have just not been up to snuff lately.

So instead I will just keep writing about what inpires me, what elates me and what hurts me; in hopes that it makes others meerly think. First and foremost is God. I find it hard to call my self a chirstian artist only because I feel that perhaps other christians/believers might possibly be upset that ALL my songs are not about God. I personally feel that I am a christian artist because I AM a christian and do not sing of anything offensive. I sing of love for the lord, I also sing of love for my family, my husband, my friends and the world itself. God has given me a gift and I want to use it to praise him and the wonderful world around me. I am blessed by him with my life, my family, my job, my man and being Canadian. I am nowhere near where I want to be in my faith, but I will get there, and my first step is letting you know. As i mentioned, I also have a massive love for the world we live in, which in turn creates a massive CONCERN for the world we live in. Times are changing and the atmosphere itself is changing with it. I have not figured out yet how to save the world, but I have started by changing my lightbulbs and driving a standard (until I'm rich enough to afford a hybrid). I'm reseaching a lot and finding more and more ways to possibly make a dent in replenishing our rapidly depleating ozone. It's not much. just a thought. but if we all had the same thought, and I know so many more do, we can maybe. save the world?? BE A HERO!
