With his feet in the water and the sky on the ground, the sometimes-lighthearted visual approach belies the earnest, melancholy underpinnings of the song's lyrics. Dan is currently recording the follow-up to 2013's "Live On" with Rich Mattson in the Iron Range of Sparta, Minnesota.
