DESCRIPTION:
I'm going to be performing at a ukulele festival in a couple of days and they've asked me to teach a seminar also! (D'oh!) So I've actually had to figure out exactly what it is I'm playing. (I've never had lessons... so it's all seat of my pants) Over the last few days I created some strumming icons and wrote out what and how each strum works ... also some fretting techniques. But HOW TEDIOUS if I just sat every one down and said do this..... ok.. now..... this.... ok .... and now.... argh. So... I think if we all just play a song with lots of techniques... we learn the techniques... AND a song! (and... it's a LOT more fun) People at the festival will get strum notation .... words .... chords... etc...AND hopefully will get some use out of this you tube vid... if you weren't in Canberra Oct 20 2012.... well I hope this vid is still some use to you ... and somewhere down the line, (if it's possible) I'll see if I can attach the strum notation stuff here. ... thanks ....
