Music Station Radio Hour 07-08-04, featuring "Dan Holmes Group".

A brief history:
Music Station Radio Hour was a weekly show produced by Dan Holmes and Jimmy V (James Valdez). It was on the air from April through September in 2004. Dan Holmes owned a music store in Avon, IN, during this time called Music Station. After repeatedly being asked to buy advertising on a local radio station, Dan bought an hour time block once a week with the idea of promoting live, local bands. MSRH welcomed any bands who were performing around Indiana. Originally, the show was an hour long, featuring two bands per week, and eventually grew to a two-hour show with three bands per week.

Here, we have edited out the plugs and commercials best we could and still have the show make sense. We felt like these interviews are an important part of Indiana's musical history. These were the acts filling clubs and coffeehouses in 2004 in Indianapolis.

Thank you to hosts James Valdez & Dan Holmes, (co-owners) Steve & Anita Holmes, (announcer) Mark Christopher Rohrman and his son Nicky, (contributor) Graig Adams, (contributor) Christine Barton-Holmes and of course all the bands who shared their talent with the world.

This show originally aired on WKLU Kool 101.9 on Monday nights. All bands signed a music release form for this program.
