Dance Planet X (DPX ) is an outrageous adventure Monserrattz created after graduating University of Miami, Magna Cum Laude-Literature/Journalism. She placed her self right smack in the middle of pursuing the most complete art form and lifestyle she could find : DPX, including, but not limited to, the creation of music, events, vibe, fashion, visual arts, set design, performance art, intense social life and adaptability. "I began song writing in 1995 creating a vocal, melodic, performance style,on-stage persona and attitude defined, today,in its broadest terms, as ALTERNATIVE, ELECTRO DANCE w some progressive rock elements and lots of punk attitude."
Dance Planet X recently completed a full album 'GOTHAM NIGHT' (13 songs plus one suprise hidden track) with Giuseppe D. a renowned, Grammy-nominated, Gold & Platinum winning New York/Miami producer who's worked with a mind-blowing list of TOP WORLDCLASS TALENT. DPX has over 54 remixes of their music (and counting), which are dropped in clubs worldwide! The picturesque, novelty song 'South Beach', often compared to Jim Buffet's Margaritaville for it's salty, fun, ironic, teasing capture of a Florida place and time, was just licensed for a HOT, SEXY, NEW reality show hitting a Major network this Season. Several TOP Miami DJs are currently in the process of remixing the entire 'Gotham Night' album in the latest house music style!
Monserrattz and her sister owned the now 'fabled' �nderland Privat club space plus hosted and DJed at the novel Miami Edelweiss and at their 'Electro-a-Go-Go night on South Beach for over 4.5 years launched with the boys of the Hialeah Sound System. 'GOTHAM NIGHT' is released by Konzepcion Musik.
