What's up everybody, this is Dana Leong I'm here live at Life After Dark Studio (http://www.twitter.com/LifeAfterDarkST) after hours. I was really inspired, last weekend I saw a quick performance dedicated to one of the greatest composers ever, Johann Sebastian Bach. Had he been alive today, this week he would have turned 328 years old! And so our friends down at The Greenespace (http://www.thegreenespace.org) downtown in New York City, great studio, great venue, home of WQXR (http:// www.wqxr.org) & WNYC 93.9 FM and 820 AM (http://www.wnyc.org), they're doing a tribute to Bach all week, they're playing all of his music. If you can believe it, it takes over 10 days to play all of the 1100+ compositions that he wrote. So today, I'm trading in the electric cello for the acoustic and I'm playing one of my favorite Bach pieces, which is from the 1st Suite in G for solo cello entitled Sarabande.
