PUBLISHED:  Dec 24, 2012
DESCRIPTION:
Cleveland's Damnation of Adam Blessing cover Jimi Hendrix's, You Got Me Floatin'. Recorded live in 2000 at the Odeon Theater, Cleveland Ohio. Includes all the original members of the band:
Adam Blessing lead vocals,
Bob Kalamsz lead guitar,
Kinky Blessing supporting vocals,
with special guest Bobby Hussar on back up vocals,
Ray Benich bass,
Bill Shwark drums.
Jimmy Quinn rhythm guitar,
also includes Josh Cockran on percussion,
with Ricky Spimma on keyboards.
(For their Austrailian and European friends), this is a song that the Damnation of Adam Blessing performed many times at local clubs in and around their home town of Cleveland Ohio, USA. (Chesterland Hullabaloo, Cyrus Eire West, Agora) It usually clocked in at 45 minutes to an hour. With the release of their first self titled UA album in 1969, they took this bad boy everywhere from the Village Gate in NYC, (reviewed in Billboard Mag), to the Wiskey in LA. (part, II coming soon!)
